Flame Tree Barbecue
The air at Animal Kingdom is a little less aromatic with the seasonal closing of this fine restaurant. There was no more wonderful a smell in the park than that of the barbecue at the Flame Tree but the powers to be at Disney have decided to limit the opening of this restaurant to the busier times of the year.
This restaurant, counter service only, is located between DinoLand USA and Discovery Island. They offer smoked chicken, ribs, pork and beef. The food is really quite good and the outside dining area has a beautiful view. They are open 10:30 am - 6 pm. Under $10 per person.
